Local Business Owner Chelesa S. Holden, MSW Named to NSBA Leadership Council

St. Louis, MO – Chelesa S. Holden, MSW, Innovative Change Consulting Group, LLC, St. Louis, MO, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization and operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Holden, a recognized leader in the small-business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

“As a small-business owner, I see daily the importance of being involved and active when it comes to laws and regulation,” stated Holden. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to take our collective small-business message to the people that need to hear it most: Congress.”

Chelesa S. Holden, MSW (she/her/hers) is a social worker and consultant who practices research, implements evidence- based solutions and strategies to elevate organizations. Chelesa is a motivated and innovative change maker in which she produces and implements effective key organizational projects. She utilizes a methodical approach to accomplish tasks and problem-solve. She is outcome and results driven.

As a Social Worker, she strives hard to work in the community to make St. Louis a better and more conducive environment when it comes to alleviating systemic barriers. With years of experience serving the community, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance for those in need; she is dedicated to breaking systemic barriers that affect individuals from disadvantaged and marginalized communities.

Chelesa is the Founder and Innovative Principle of Innovative Change Consulting Group, LLC. Innovative Change Consulting Group is a nonprofit consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The agency strives to build and elevate local nonprofits to become sustainable within the communities they serve. The agency has worked with several nonprofits, local and nonlocal. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.
