Chelesa S. Holden, MSW (she/her/hers) is a social worker and consultant who practices research, implements evidence-based solutions and strategies to elevate organizations. Ms. Holden is the owner of Innovative Change Consulting Group, LLC. Innovative Change Consulting Group, LLC is a consulting agency that specializes working with organizations, to provide professional organizational management services. Innovative Change Consulting Group strives to build and elevate organizations to become sustainable within the communities they serve.

Chelesa is passionate about social justice change. She strives hard to make the St. Louis community and other communities a better and more conducive environment to alleviate systemic barriers. With years of experience serving the community, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance for those in need; she is dedicated to breaking down systemic barriers that affect individuals from disadvantage and marginalized communities. With Social Change comes Social Impact, and through Social Impact comes forth Policy-Making & Policy-Change.

Prior to founding Innovative Change Consulting Group, LLC, Ms. Holden spent several years working in the nonprofit sector. She has worked in various capacities to assist individuals who have encountered the criminal justice system and connecting them to community resources so that they can maintain self-sufficiency and independency. Ms. Holden has worked on several research projects, along with evaluating programs and services. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice & Criminology & Bachelor of Social Work from University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master of Social Work, with a focus on “Community Development & Practice with Criminal Justice Involved Individuals” from The Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis.

In her free time, Chelesa S. Holden is always eager to actively stay engaged and give back to the community. Ms. Holden often visits her undergraduate and graduate program to speak to Bachelor and Master level Social Work students about the importance and the need for social workers to get involved in policy to make social change & impact.
